Introduction
Solar powered pumps can be used anywhere. Run directly from solar panels they will work whenever there is sufficient sunlight, the brighter the sun the greater the flow. Safe and simple, they allow instant water features in even the smallest gardens or ponds.
Safety
They are intrinsically safe and simple to install since they don't require mains wiring and transformers. Because the pumps are low voltage the risk of electric shock associated with mains power and water is eliminated. No extra costly wiring and safety equipment is required.
Installation
This could not be easier.
Simply plug the the solar module and pump together,. place the pump in the water with the supplied fountain head just above the surface, point the panel at the sun and the pump will start.
Pearl Effect Pumps
This floating solar pump provides a pulsating ‘pearl effect’ water feature. Brass & stainless steel construction. Unique control circuitry ensures dawn until dusk operation in any light conditions. The brighter the light the faster the rate of pulsed pumping. In very low light the pump ejects a pearl of water every so often - in bright sun a continuous stream.
Bigger PV panels enable more frequent pumping. Several pumps can be run together using a larger solar module if desired, eg. up to six with a 30Wp module.

Solar Fountain Sets
Solar 70 pump
These reliable, long lasting modules and pumps are ideally matched and give excellent performance over a wide range of light conditions.
Simply put the panel in an unshaded, sunny spot, and plug it together with the pump for instant operation!
The pumps are submersible and can be used for fountains or pumping to water features such as small waterfalls via 12mm hose connectors. 5m cable.
Solar 140 pump
Compact, lightweight vandal proof solar modules with polycrystalline cells encapsulated between EVA & stainless steel and using no glass in their construction. Modules may be mounted using four grommet finished holes. Output is via potted junction box and integral 3m cable.
Supplied c/w solar module; pump & fountain spray head; cable & connector.
Warranty: Module 5 years; Pump 3 years.
